# Tesseract > Tesseract is an open-source, production-ready cross-rollup atomic swap protocol that coordinates trustless token exchanges across Ethereum L2s. It uses Vyper smart contracts, a high-performance Rust relayer, commit-reveal MEV protection, and flash-loan-resistant resolution delays — without bridges, wrapped assets, or custodial intermediaries. Tesseract is a multi-rollup DEX primitive, not a bridge. Users keep native assets on each chain; atomic swap groups either resolve everywhere within a deadline window or refund everywhere. Supported chains at launch: Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base (mainnets + testnets). License: MIT.
